Hi! I am Ragni, a professional ski & adventure guide based in Norway.

I’ve spent the last 8+ years guiding, teaching and leading people in alpine and backcountry environments — in conditions that require calm, clarity and good judgment. Certified Ski Guide through the Norwegian Mountain Guide Assosiation.

I guide because I care deeply about how people experience the mountains. Not just where we ski, but how it feels to move through terrain with confidence, awareness and trust. My style is grounded and attentive, with a strong focus on communication and presence.

Whether you join me for private guiding or a course, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to learn, challenge yourself and find more flow in the mountains.

Guiding Philosophy

My guiding is built on strong snow knowledge, terrain awareness and respect for the mountains. I love reading conditions, hunting for good snow and choosing lines that invite both enjoyment and progression.

I believe in pushing boundaries — with intention and good judgment. Just enough to build confidence, sharpen skills and create flow. I combine technical expertise with presence, constantly adapting to snow, terrain and the people I’m guiding.

I bring energy, engagement and a genuine joy for skiing into every day in the mountains. Clear communication, trust and a positive atmosphere help groups move better together — and when people feel relaxed, motivated and focused, skiing becomes safer, smoother and a lot more fun.

Experience Matters

More than eight years of guiding and teaching in Norway’s alpine and backcountry terrain have shaped how I work in the mountains. I combine strong snow knowledge and technical skill with presence, clear communication and sound judgment.

My focus is on finding good snow, choosing enjoyable lines and creating progression — without losing the joy and energy that make skiing fun. Experience matters because it allows me to adapt to conditions, people and the day, and to guide with confidence, clarity and care.

I guide year-round, working in different environments and across the seasons. This has given me extensive experience in leading groups, reading people and adapting to changing situations. Whether on skis in winter or moving through the mountains in summer, my approach is the same: engaged leadership, good judgment and genuine care for the people I guide.
